Memorabilia

Below are three videos that discuss most of the “memorabilia” I have related to the musicians with whom I’ve worked. I have a few other things that are not in these videos like a shirt that belonged to Art Pepper and Max Gordon’s watch and cufflinks that belonged to Mel Lewis. Max Gordon (different from the co-writer of “At Last”) owned the Village Vanguard and Mel Lewis was one of the greatest big band drummers, co-leading the Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Orchestra for over 20 years. Art Pepper was, of course, one of the great alto players in jazz.
